Seth's addiction to going under the knife has begun at the tender age of 8 months. His Mom and Dad are so proud of him. He's the first Carlsen to have cosmetic surgery and hopefully not the last. :)
All joking aside, Seth got tubes put in his ears yesterday and his little skin tag in front of his right ear was removed as well. He was very curious and cute before the surgery, but after he woke up is a different story. He screamed for an hour with his eyes closed. We couldn't tell how awake he really was. He took a nap when we got home and he felt much better after that.
Trying to sleep last night was fun. Mom had logged long hours with Seth the night before the surgery, so it was my turn last night. Seth and I finally fell asleep on the floor down stairs at about 2a.m. and stayed there until 7a.m.
Please don't stare at Seth's newly remodeled ear the next time you see him. We don't want to give him a complex, which would encourage him to continue with cosmetic reconstruction! :)

Cute little guy! Glad everything went well.
I am glad he's ok. That would be scary to have such a little guy go under! Hopefully the tubes help! My little brother had 7 or 8 sets!
I am SOO glad everything went well! (minus the lack of sleep) Seth is such a handsome little man, even before the skin tag was removed! We sure miss you guys!
What's next??? Gosh, everytime I 'check in' you guys are going threw something new! Give your little guy a big hug and kiss for us. Hope he gets feeling better!
